Stetson Open Road

Art Direction for Stetson's Open Road Campaign.

The campaign was focused around Character Driven talent: Country music legend Lyle Lovett, Mikael Kennedy of King Kennedy Rugs + more.

In 1937, the John B. Stetson Company introduced a game-changing new style. Called The Open Road, it embodied the best of the city and country, and combined a traditional western crown with a shorter, town-friendly brim. What was once an innovation has become an icon, worn by Presidents, artists, outlaws, and trailblazers of all kinds—including Matt and Carrie Eddmenson, of imogene + willie, above—in the decades since.
